Network and Datacenter
Currently Future Hosting maintains servers in two datacenters.
Dallas Datacenter:
The Dallas network iis the first true on-demand hosting solution with public
and private networks to ensure complete control over the outsourced environment.
Comprised of two separate and distinct redundant network architectures, the network-within-the-network
design delivers enterprise level hosting services while adding complete management
and flexibility to the outsourced environment.

Virtual Datacenter
FutureHosting is focused on delivering virtual datacenter services to our customers
via remote management tools incorporated into the customer management portal
and available over the SSL VPN gateway to the private service network. Future Hosting
engineers act as virtual onsite technicians to facilitate enterprise quality
hosting services. Through the use of IPMI 2.0 server technologies, remote management
software, out-of-band management, automated OS reloads, and other proprietary
Future Hosting methodologies; Future Hosting brings the datacenter and hosting environments
to the virtual realm - giving customers complete control over the outsourced
environment.
The Dallas datecenter is built upon 100% Cisco networking
equipment. In addition to Cicso Routers and Switches, the datacenter
has the following devices:
- Cisco Guard XT - DDoS Mitigation device. If there is an incoming DDoS attack
large enough, the advanced tools implemented by the datacenter will automatically
place the IP behind the Cisco Guard until the attack is mitigated.
- Tipping Point Intrusion detection and prevention systems are in place for zero
day response.
- Arbor Peakflow Traffic Analysis
- Arbor Atlas Global Traffic Analyzer
- Internap 10G Flow Control Platform
Chicago Datacenter:
The Future Hosting Network is designed to provide high quality
bandwidth and low latency to customers across the globe.

Our network utilizes routing and switching products from Juniper Networks and
Cisco Systems, the leaders in the industry. We utilize Juniper M20 and M5 routers
as border routers, Cisco 6509 (SUP720) switches as our distribution switches,
and Cisco 2950/2960 switches in our aggregation/customer layer. Additional
network equipment includes DDoS mitigation hardware on each of our incoming
carriers, allowing us to mitigate multi-gigabit DoS/DDoSattacks. In addition,
10 Gigabit Ethernet is used at the core of the network to reduce the risks
of internal congestion due to DDoS attacks and to maintain optimal flexibility.
Our network is fully meshed, using BGP, and redundant with a wide selection
of backbone providers. We took care in choosing our carriers; our research
showed them to be some of the fastest and most reliable networks available.
Not only are the providers redundant, but their entry paths are redundant as
well. Some carriers are brought into the network at Equinix and carried down
three floors to our data center over redundant 10 Gigabit Ethernet lines while
several pairs of fiber also conect us to provider in the building Meet-Me Room
(MMR). In the building there is also fiber from dozens of other companies such
as Global Crossing, Abovenet, Qwest, and Sprint. Internal Network

- Cisco 2950/2960 series aggregation/customer layer switches
